Why Not Attend Poetry Together 2023’s Launch Party?

Poetry Together 2023 is a project which aims to unite young and old through the joy of poetry, and will be holding a Launch Party at The British Library on Tuesday 5th September between 11a.m. and 3p.m. The event will be hosted by the founder of the initiative, Gyles Brandreth, and guests will be able to enjoy workshops from Children’s Laureate, Joseph Coelho, and Slam Poetry star, Steven Camden. There will also be immersive and interactive activities and lots of sandwiches, tea and cake.

The event is aimed at children of recommended age 8 -16 and the elderly. It’s completely free and the children have the opportunity to request to perform poetry themselves if they would like to.
